This Chelsea player could leave Stamford Bridge with Abramovich
There are claims that Chelsea striker and German international Timo Werner could leave Stamford Bridge alongside Roman Abramovic.
Werner scored one goal and set up two others during the Blues 3-2 win over Luton in the FA Cup fifth round this week.
It was Werner’s first goal in eight matches.
The 25-year-old has been given fewer minutes than any of Chelsea’s other senior attackers this season, and his agents are worried.
The report claimed that £47.5 million signing from RB Leipzig has become increasingly frustrated over lack of game time and is considering leaving Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Werner’s representatives will have a meeting with Chelsea officials in the coming weeks to know their plan for him before they decide on their next move.
If Chelsea does not have any plan for him, Werner could return to the German Bundesliga.
Werner is among the big morning signing made by Abramovich, and it appears they could both be on their way out soon.
