These two players will miss Chelsea’s tour

Chelsea football stars N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be unavailable for the Blues’ pre-season tour of the United States

The reports revealed the two players were excluded from the squad that would be going on tour.

Chelsea’s tour of the United States will include games against Club America, Charlotte FC and Arsenal.

Ben Chilwell made the list of those going on tour after returning from injury, and he will be joined in the 29-man squad by Conor Gallagher who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace.

However, Kante and Loftus-Cheek are not on the list and would not be joining their teammates on the trip after the Blues confirmed that the pair are unable to travel due to their “COVID vaccination status”.

The Blues forward Armando Broja also did not travel with the squad, but the Albania international is set to fly out to join the pre-season tour next week.

Once they are done with the tour of the United States, Chelsea will travel to Italy to face Udinese in their final friendly of pre-season.
