Former Chelsea star and defender, John Terry has expressed his support for manager Mauricio Pochettino amid the Blues’ inconsistent form this season.

Terry in his statement urged the club’s board to keep the Argentine as manager for the upcoming season.

It is no longer news that Pochettino faced a challenging inaugural season at Stamford Bridge, battling with a plethora of injuries while relying on a team from a youthful and inexperienced squad.

Despite making it to the seventh place in the table, Arsenal are likely to go trophyless this campaign.

But their recent performances have showcased encouraging signs for the Blues which has got the attention of many including the club’s owner Todd Boehly.

Recall that the Blues pulled a convincing 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur after a resounding 5-0 win against West Ham United.

While speculation about the manager’s future, Terry opined that Pochettino has adeptly navigated a demanding season and advocated for his continuation at the dugout at Chelsea.
