Sterling tipped to score more goals after brace vs Leicester City

Chelsea returned to winning ways over the weekend as they defeated Leicester City in a 2-1 scoreline.

The win comes after Chelsea had suffered a defeat to Leeds United earlier on.

Chelsea’s summer signing from Man City, Raheem Sterling found the back of the net twice for the Blues against the Foxes.

He score the first goal two minutes into the second half before he added a second later on in the match.

While Chelsea played the match with a 10-man squad, the difference-maker in the final third was Raheem Sterling, who opened his Chelsea account during the match.

Chelsea star Ruben Loftus-Cheek has in a statement has applauded the English player as he tipped him to score more goals.

‘Raz is always going to get goals,’ acknowledged Loftus-Cheek.

‘Hopefully now he’s got his first, the floodgates will open. I’m sure he will keep getting on the scoresheet. I’m very pleased for him to get his first couple of goals. He was fantastic, and here’s to many more.’
