Premier League side Chelsea have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign their former star, Eden Hazard from Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard was Chelsea’s most prized asset when he left Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid two years ago but things has not been rosy in Santiago Bernabeu.

The Belgium international has spent majority of his time at Real Madrid injured and this has not seen him replicate the good form he had at Chelsea for seven-year.

Despite leaving Chelsea the for a fee in the region of £89m, Real Madrid are reportedly ready to let go of the Belgium international this summer.

According to AS, top hierarchy at Real Madrid have informed Chelsea that they are free to negotiate a potential reunion with their former star man.

However, the report claims that a transfer is unlikely to be agreed, reason being that Chelsea are still being owed money by Real from the deal that was finalised in 2019.

Hazard will be eager to play an important role under Carlo Ancelotti who replaced Zinedine Zidane as the head coach of Real Madrid some weeks ago.
