It appears Chelsea are on the verge of losing their defender and Germany International, Antonio Rudiger, who reports revealed has refused to sign a new contract with the Blues.

Rudiger, who has become a key player at Stamford Bridge after winning the Uefa Champions League with the Blues last season, is yet to reveal why he doesn’t intend to extend his contract.

According to a report via Sport snail, it revealed that the Blues have offered the German defender new terms that will see him earn around £125,000-per-week.

With the 28-year-old defender’s current contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire next June, the Blues are worried he could be on his way out.

While Rudiger is focused on helping the Blues win the title once again this season, the likes of the Spanish club Real Madrid and French giants Paris Saint Germain PSG are said to be monitoring the situation at Chelsea as they hope to make a swoop for the defender who would be a free agent by next summer.

If Rudiger doesn’t put pen to paper by January, the Blues will have to focus on signing a new defender as his replacement.
