Former Man Utd defender, Mikael Silvestre has dropped an advice for Cristiano Ronaldo following his return to the EPL.

It is been 12 years since the Portuguese star has departed Old Trafford and the Premier League has become even more competitive than ever, which means Ronaldo may have to put in extra effort to make a name in his second coming.

During the period he was away from Old Trafford, he had gone on to play with Real Madrid and Juventus and also emerged one of the best players in history.

Silvestre, however, believes at 36 he may not be able to perform as he used to this urging the football star not to overwork his body.

The former defender revealed it would be difficult for Cristiano to accept that he will have to get some rest with the way he is still playing for Portugal.

“I’ve been there myself and you still think you can train as hard as a 20-year-old and you can’t and the reality is you have to rest so you can peak during the game, so that’s going to be the challenge for him but I think he can do that,” Silvestre said told Bettingexpert.com.
