Roles Havertz will play at Arsenal revealed

Arsenal are keen on signing Chelsea forward Kai Havertz ahead of next season.

The latest report revealed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Chelsea’s Havertz about what his role in the team would be if his transfer to Emirate Stadium went through.

The Gunners had already seen an offer for Havertz turned down by the Blues but are expected to return to the table with a second bid.

A report via ESPN revealed Arteta has told Havertz he can play in several positions at the Emirates, including No. 8, No. 10, in the two wide attacking positions, and in a central striker role.

There are beliefs that Havertz’s versatility is seen as a “big attraction” for Arteta, who wants him in his squad especially as they would be playing European football next season.

Arteta is on a mission to improve his team who finished in the second place on the Premier League last season.
