Reece says Chelsea had more opportunity than Man Utd

Chelsea star James Reece has reacted to the Blues’ 1-1 draw vs Man Utd as he stressed that they had more chance to win all three points against the Red Devils.

The west London side, during the match at Old Trafford, attempted 21 shots, four of which came from wing-back Reece.

Aside from Chelsea, only two opposition sides have managed 20 or more shots in a Premier League game at Old Trafford since the 2016/17 season, and they are Tottenham Hotspur and Watford.

Reece, in a post-match statement, lamented the many opportunities Chelsea missed during the match.

‘We came here to win and had enough chances to put the game to bed in the first half, but we didn’t take them. We scored and then they got one soon after,’ he said.

‘We had more chances in the second half but again we didn’t take them. They’re a great side an,d they managed to take two points from us today.’

The Blues remain at the third spot and would return to action this weekend when they play Everton in the EPL.
