PSG confirm interest in Chelsea’s target

French club PSG have joined Chelsea in the race for Jude Bellingham as they confirmed interest in signing him.

Speaking to Sky News, PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) president Nasser Al-Khelaifi praised the qualities of Jude Bellingham and confirmed interest in signing the England star.

Al-Khelaifi in his statement about Bellingham described how he remains calm in pressure situations and claimed that England are lucky to have him in the World Cup. He also shared his views on potentially wanting to sign the young superstar.

He said:

“England (are) lucky to have him, to be honest. He’s one of the best players in the tournament. Amazing – his first World Cup. He’s calm and relaxed, confident – amazing.”

“Everybody wants him, I’m not going to hide it. He’s at his club, and (we have) respect, so if we want to talk to him we’ll talk to the club first.”

PSG will now join the likes of Man City, Liverpool, among others who are also interested in the English midfielder.
