Potter speak ahead of game vs Liverpool
Chelsea will return to action this weekend when they make a trip to Anfield to Liverpool.
The Blues will head to the match after their last 1-0 win vs Crystal Palace.
Speaking ahead of the match, Chelsea manager Graham Potter said they have to back up their last win with another victory.
He, however, acknowledged that Liverpool are a difficult squad to play against especially at Anfield.
Potter in a pre-match conference said: “The win has been important for us but it’s just a win. We have to go to Liverpool next and back it up. I’m confident but I respect Liverpool and Anfield. It’s a tough place to go at any point, a Santa’stic football club. Jurgen is a top manager and a top team but we’ve come through a tough spell. Players are coming back, new players are arriving. There is a buzz at the training ground.”
Speaking on Liverpool’s struggles, Potter said:
“Jurgen is a fantastic guy and a fantastic manager. They’ll fix it and come through their struggles.”
