RB Leipzig forward and Germany international, Timo Werner has sent a warning to his team-mate, Christopher Nkunku about the different level of pressure and scrutiny he would face when he finally moves to Chelsea.

Recall that the Blues reached an agreement to meet Nkunku’s buy-out clause last year and will welcome him at the end of the season.

While the two clubs have not revealed the deal, reports claimed Chelsea have paid around £60million to secure Nkunku’s signature.

“Everyone has to have their own experience,” Werner told Bild.

“I had a very good first year, the second was so-so. I can tell him [Nkunku] from positive and negative experiences, should he move [to Chelsea].

“At a club like that [Chelsea], you don’t play like you did at RB Leipzig, because there is even more competition – not only on a sporting level, but also on another level, in the mental area.

“You have to cope with that, and everyone has to find their own way. That is why it is the wrong approach to give others tips.”
