Chelsea winger Cole Palmer has named his favourite Blues icon as Belgian star Eden Hazard.

There is doubt that the Englishman has been one of Chelsea’s outstanding players under Todd Boehly as he has been impressive for the Blues since joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.

Palmer has become a bit of a talisman at Stamford Bridge, doing things no one expected to happen and something that any of his colleagues can only dream of.

The England international seems to be on his way to having the same kind of effect that former Blues winger, Hazard had on the club during his time at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012.

Palmer in a statement said he would like to play with Hazard, stressing that even though their game is different he tries to be as exciting as the Belgian star.

“If I could play with one Chelsea icon, it’d be for sure Eden Hazard,” the former Man City player said via The Premier League on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Palmer could return to action this weekend when manager Enzo Maresca and his squad take on Brighton in the Premier League.
