Mudryk reacts to post criticising Cucurella

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk liked an Instagram post criticising teammate Marc Cucurella following their Premier League 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.

Chelsea were held to a draw with West Ham at the London Stadium following goals from Joao Felix and Emerson Palmieri.

Mudryk found it hard to break into West Ham’s defence and, at one point showed his frustration with Cucurella in the second half.

A highlight from the match showed the moment Cucurella received the ball inside West Ham’s half with Mudryk making a run down the left, darting in behind his marker into space.

However, instead of finding Mudryk, the former Brighton manager opted to turn inside and played a simple pass to midfielder Enzo Fernandez with the Ukraine star not impressed with the decision.

The incident among other similar ones was picked up by Chelsea fans, with one meme depicting the Spaniard blanking Mudryk in favour of his other Chelsea teammates.
