Mourinho’s message to Man Utd’s new manager emerges

Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is one of those who reached out to the Red Devils new manager, Ruben Amorim following his appointment at Old Trafford.

This comes as Amorim in a recent statement revealed that the Fenerbahce boss sent him a message after he got the job.

Following his arrival at Man Utd, Amorim will take charge of his debut game at Ipswich in the Premier League on Sunday.

Recall that the 39-year-old was signed as a replacement for manager Erik ten Hag, who was sacked with the Red Devils sitting in 13th place.

Ahead of Man Utd’s trip to Portman Road, Amorim disclosed that Mourinho, who also managed the Red Devils in the past, gave him inside information about the club.

Amorim said Mourinho sent him a message described Man Utd as a big club, with lovely people.

The new manager, however, stated that a lot of things have changed at Man Utd as they are in a different building now and building a new one.

Amorim who said he is different also was hoped to teach his new players a few things.

He added that Man Utd remain the best club in England despite their recent poor form.
