Mourinho slammed for doing this during game vs. Man City

Coach Jose Mourinho and his Tottenham hotspur squad suffered an embarrassing defeat in the hands of EPL toppers Man City over the weekend.

The game ended in a 3-0 defeat for the Hotspur as they were unable to score a single goal.

Following the poor outing, the Portugal international has been attacked for Tottenham woes.

According to former Tottenham manager, Jamie Redknapp, he stressed that Mourinho deserves to be blamed for playing Dele Alli and Gareth Bale in Spurs’ 3-0 defeat against Manchester City on Saturday.

He stressed that Mourinho has treated the duo of Dele and Bale badly and still went around to bring them in to help him turn things around vs. Man City.

The former Tottenham manager stressed that Mourinho must take full responsibility for Tottenham’s performance and for upsetting Alli and Bale who could have performed better under a better situation.

“He [Jose Mourinho] brings in Dele Alli and Gareth Bale. He wants them to bail him out,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

“He’s been treating them badly – they have not been in the team, and now you are asking them to make a difference for you,” he added.

Tottenham lost to Pep Guardiola led Man C.ity side thanks to a goal from Rodri and a brace from Ilkay Gundogan.
