Mourinho shares how Man Utd can win EPL title

Manchester United under manager Erik ten Hag have had it tough this season as the seat far away from the top six on the league table.

Amid the Red Devils woes, Fernabahce manager, Jose Mourinho, however, believes they have a chance of winning the EPL title.

According to Mourinho, Manchester United could still win the 2017-18 Premier League title if the English top-flight league punish their neighbours and rivals Manchester City.

Recall that the Portugal international guided Manchester United to finish in second position behind Man City during the 2017-18 season.

But the Citizens are currently facing a hearing into over 100 alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules dating back to when Mourinho was in charge at Old Trafford.

The former Chelsea boss feels Man Utd could be handed the title if Man City are found guilty and punished by the Premier League.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Fernabahce’s Europa League tie with Man United on Thursday, Mourinho said Man Utd still have a chance to win that league [2017/18 season] if they punish Manchester City.

He added that if they do, he hoped the club would pay him his bonus and give him his medal.
