Chelsea had a not so good outing at Vicarage Road on Wednesday night when they played Watford in the EPL.

The home side were impressive and had enough chances to win against a sloppy Chelsea squad.

However, when the match was suspended after a fan suffered a cardiac arrest, Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel addressed his players in the dressing room.

Even after the address, Chelsea were still not impressive, but they were lucky to score two goals thanks to Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech.

Mount in a post-match statement has now revealed what Tuchel told the players in the dressing room.

“He said some firm words to us in the dressing room, and it got us going,” the England international said to Amazon Prime Video after the game.

“We know that as a group, but obviously he said it. As individuals, as leaders in the group, we knew we didn’t start enough. For 11 minutes, we did not keep the ball, or have it in their half. We knew individually.”

The recent win vs Watford means Chelsea are seated at the top of the league table with one point ahead of Man City.
