Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Jadon Sancho, but their rivals, Manchester City, might also be receiving from the transfer fee.

Jadon Sancho has been on Manchester United wishlist since last season, and the red devils finally agreed to a deal with Dortmund some hours ago.

The England international is expected to undergo medical with the Red Devils after the ongoing European Championship before the transfer is announced.

With Manchester United expected to pay a fee of £72.9m for Sancho, reports from The Telegraph state that Man City will earn £11.2m from the deal.

According to the report, the Premier League champion will receive 15% of the transfer fee due to the terms inserted into Sancho’s move to BVB in 2017.

The report added that Manchester City would be paid £9.74m as the 15%, while they will also be paid £1.46m due to the part they played in Sancho’s development.

Sancho was Manchester City’s player from 2015 and 2017; however, he did not make a first-team appearance for the Citizens before joining Dortmund in the 2017-18 campaign.
