Premier League Champion Manchester City are not relenting in their effort of signing Harry Kane this summer as they reportedly return with a second bid for the Englishman.

Harry Kane has become one of Europe most wanted strikers ever since he revealed that he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The England international has been linked with top clubs, but it’s looking like he will be joining Manchester City rather than Chelsea, who are also eyeing him.

Manchester City have reportedly approach Tottenham Hotspur with a deal of £100 million ($138.2 million) in the past, but it was rejected as the London club want to retain the service of their captain.

With Kane not willing to stay back for another season, Tottenham’s reported asking price for him is set at £120 million ($165.7 million), and Manchester City are reportedly upping their second bid.

The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare, via Harry Winters of City Xtra, revealed that the Manchester City are expected to act more decisively to secure Kane’s transfer.

Eccleshare noted that Manchester City’s desire for the world-class striker would dictate their next bid.

According to him, Manchester City are willing to pay more than £100 million ($138.5 million) for Kane, who has become an essential player in Tottenham Hotspur.
