Man Utd striker arrest on suspicion of rape and assault
Manchester United striker and England international Mason Greenwood has found himself in trouble as the latest report revealed he has been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
The reports revealed that earlier on Sunday, Greenwood’s girlfriend, Harriet Robson, accused him of domestic violence.
Harriet uploaded some photos and audio recordings via her Instagram page in the morning, which has gone viral, with many social media users criticising the Man Utd striper.
The club, in a recent statement, has now announced that the 20-year-old will not play or train until the police conclude their investigations.
Manchester United, in the statement, admitted they are aware of the “images and allegations”.
The Red Devils also made it clear they do not “condone violence of any kind” and will make no comment until the “facts have been established”.
Greenwood has 35 goals to his name in 129 appearances for Man United.
Depending on the outcome of the case, Greenwood may end up not playing for the Red Devils or any club again.
