The latest reports have revealed that Man Utd are planning a swoop that could see them sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund next summer transfer window.

Recall that the Red Devils were among the top European clubs interested in signing Haaland in the recent transfer window.

While the deal didn’t work out, the Red Devils went on to sign their former striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, from Juventus.

Following the arrival of Ronaldo at Old Trafford, the Portuguese had put up some excellent performance with three goals already to his name.

This raised speculations that the Red Devils may no longer be interested in Haaland.

However, according to The Express, it claimed that Man Utd want to sign the 21-year-old so that he can play alongside Ronaldo during the 2022-23 campaign.

Haaland has continued with his impressive form this season with nine goals and four assists in seven appearances in all competitions already to his name.

To sign the Norway international, Man Utd will have to pay a £68m release clause in his contract.

They would also have to be ready for competition from the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City, who have also shown interest to sign the Dortmund striker.
