Man Utd could consider swapping Lingard for this Dortmund star

Ahead of the soon to commence summer transfer window, the latest report has linked Manchester United with interest to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Recall that the Red Devils were linked with moves to sign the England international from Dortmund last season but they were unable to complete the transfer process owing to the high transfer price.

However, the latest reports from Dortmund have revealed that the German club are ready to let him this summer at a reduced price.

There are also reports that the Red Devils could consider a swap deal that could see Jesse Lingard move to Dortmund while Sancho moves to Old Trafford.

According to The Sun, Dortmund are interested in signing Lingard ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

With this Man, United can attempt to beat down Sancho’s asking price further.

Lingard has been in top form for West Ham United since joining them on loan in January, scoring nine times and registering four assists in 13 appearances.

Following his performance at West Ham, there are indications that the Hammers are planning to sign him permanently at the end of this season, and it would be a big blow for them if the Red Devils agree to a deal with Dortmund instead.
