Chelsea star Noni Madueke has ruled out leaving Stamford Bridge on loan this summer as he is keen on fighting for a spot in the Blues’ first squad under their new permanent manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Madueke is ready to work under Pochettino as the Argentine is saddled with the responsibility of rebuilding Chelsea after their poor form last season.

Recall that Madueke moved to Chelsea from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in the January transfer window for approximately £30million.

“A loan spell would be impossible for both parties. I have been brought in and there is a plan for me at the club,” Madueke told the Evening Standard.

“I finished the season well, so next season is just about kicking on in the team and showing everyone the real me.

“The expectation for me from the club and myself is for me to play — and play well — next year and to keep developing as a player and a person.”
