Lukaku tipped to return to the Italian Seria A

Chelsea striker and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has been tipped with a possible departure to the Italian Seria A in future.

This is according to his agent, who said the Belgian striker would return to Serie A before the end of his career.

Lukaku was in the Italian Seria A league, where he played for Inter Milan between August 2019 and August 2021.

During his time in the league, Lukaku scored 64 goals and created 16 assists in 95 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions.

Lukaku, however, returned to Chelsea during the recent summer transfer window, but he has been unable to replicate the same impressive form at Chelsea with just three goals in 11 Premier League appearances to his name so far.

Although, Lukaku, a 28-year-old, has more than four years on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, but his agent Federico Pastorello has claimed that the striker is already thinking about a return to Serie A.

“One day we will see Lukaku back in Serie A,” Pastorello told Tuttomercato. “Lukaku loves Italy. But right now it’s up to Chelsea to take advantage of Romelu’s qualities.”

The Belgian striker is yet to score in the Premier League since netting a double against Aston Villa on September 11.
