Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku has hailed Italian international and club teammate, Jorginho who he described as exceptional.

This comes after the Belgian star trained with Jorginho at Stamford Bridge following his return to the EPL from the Italian Seria A this summer.

Recall that Lukaku used to be a Blues player seven years ago before going on to join Everton, Manchester United and then the Italian club, Inter Milan

With the return of the 28-year-old at Stamford Bridge this season, he already has his name on the score board for Chelsea.

On the international scene, Lukaku was part of the Belgian team that were defeated by Italy in the quarter-final of Euro 2020.

“I see someone like Jorginho every day now. That guy is really good at football,” he told VTM Nieuws.

He added that he had also played two years against Insigne, who plays at the top of his game. He stressed that tactically, Belgium were outclassed against Italy and also football-wise.

Jorginho helped the Blues lift the Uefa Champions League last season and would hope to continue the good form this season.
