Lukaku gives update on move to Juventus

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has given an update on his transfer to Italian Serie A side Juventus this summer transfer window.

According to Lukaku, his transfer to Juve may no longer happen.

It is no news that the Belgian forward is looking to leave Chelsea permanently this summer transfer window.

He  spent last season on loan at Inter Milan, who were keen on signing him permanently this summer but dropped interest him after he was reported to have met with Juventus on a possible transfer.

Shortly after his link to Juventus was made public, some of the club’s supporters staged a protest against signing Lukaku, the Belgium international has now appeared to suggest that a move to the Old Lady is now off.

“I don’t think the deal will go through,” Lukaku was captured saying in a video when asked about a possible move to Juventus by an Inter Milan fan.

Lukaku was left out of the Blues squad during their pre-season tour, meaning they don’t have plans to keep him.
