Belgium international, Romelu Lukaku has decided on the reports linking him to a return to Chelsea.

Over the past few weeks, Lukaku has been named as one of the players top Chelsea radar and hope to sign him when the summer transfer window commences.

However, the Belgium striker in a recent statement has landed a transfer blow on the Blues as he has said he is staying put at Inter Milan.

Speaking on the transfer reports, Lukaku confirmed that his wish is to stay at Inter Milan next season despite transfer interest from the West London club.

“Yes, I am staying,” the 28-year-old told Dutch broadcaster VTM.

“I have already had contact with the man who normally becomes our new manager. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… but it was a very positive conversation.”

“There is also the challenge of doing it again [winning the league with Inter]. I feel good at Inter.”

Lukaku had an impressive performance at Inter Milan this season under now-former coach, Antonio Conte.

The Belgium striker helped Inter Milan win the Seria A trophy after years of waiting in the league which was dominated by Juventus.

With this, Chelsea will have to look elsewhere for another player.
