Liverpool tipped to beat Man Utd despite win vs Norwich

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright has tipped Man Utd to suffer defeat against Liverpool in their next match in the EPL.

According to Wright, if Man Utd played Liverpool the same way they played a bottom side Norwich City on Saturday, they would be defeated.

The Red Devils beat Norwich 3-1, with Ronaldo scoring a hat trick. However, Wright believes they were not impressive.

The legendary Ronaldo saved the Red Devils with a brilliant free-kick with 15 minutes remaining.

However, Wright, whose former club Arsenal was also on the losing side, said the performance does not bode well for Ralf Rangnick’s side ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Anfield.

“We’re talking about a team at the bottom of the league [Norwich] who gave United two goals today, literally,” he told Premier League Productions.

“And they’re still able to open United up. If United play like that against Liverpool they’re going to get absolutely hammered.”
