Lampard wary of dangerous Arsenal ahead of Boxing Day derby

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is wary of the threat possessed by Arsenal side as the team set to meet in a thrilling affair on Boxing day.

Arsenal have been going through a torrid season as Mikel Arteta and his young squad are stuck in 15 place on the table, a move that has raised eyebrows amidst the club fans and former player.

Chelsea have also been having headache of their own as Frank Lampard and his team had to win against West Ham United after suffering from two consecutive defeat.

Despite the advantage Chelsea have over Arsenal on the league table, Lampard has insisted that Mikel Arteta team still remain a strong team.

According to Lampard, Chelsea have been in a decent form when it comes to London derbies but he thinks Arsenal should not be underrated.

Chelsea boss stated that with Arsenal, what he see is a team of great quality, a class manager who are in a tough moment.

He added that it’s a really dangerous combination to go against, so Chelsea have to prepare right.

Arsenal will be facing Manchester City in their league cup quater-final on Tuesday and might be resting some players so as to ensure they are fresh for the tie against Chelsea.
