Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has nothing but words of praise for Tammy Abraham who scored his 20th Premier League goals for the Blues, joining the list of legends to do that at that age.

Abraham ensured that Chelsea ended their two games winless run by scoring a brace against West Ham United as he is now behind Eden Hazard.

The England International with his two goals against West Ham became the second second-youngest player to hit 20 Premier League goals.

With five strikes this season, Abraham now boasts of 20 goals in 47 Premier League appearances and does not look like a player ready to slow down.

Knowing the pressure that comes with playing for Chelsea and wearing the famous number nine shirt, Lampard hailed the homegrown striker for continuing to shine.

Lampard noted that he’s very pleased with Tammy Abraham’s form as he offers a lot to the team.

The Chelsea manager noted that Abraham and Olivier Giroud whom have been fighting for a first team spot have offered Chelsea a lot in their own way at different times.

He added that Tammy Abraham need to keep working and keep progressing as last season was a great breakthrough season for him in terms of Premier League and being the Blues’ number nine, and there’s more work the youngster could do.

Chelsea will be facing fellow London club Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day and Abraham will be eager to add to his goal tally if he’s selected by Frank Lampard.
