Klopp speaks on Chelsea’s Ukraine star
Ahead of their Saturday match against Chelsea at Anfield, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reacted to the Blues’ recent signing Mykhailo Mudryk.
Mudryk, who joined Chelsea during the week has been tipped to make his debut vs Liverpool today and Klopp agrees as well.
Speaking on the Blues’ new signing in his pre-match conference, Klopp described Mudryk as a good player with experience in the Champions League.
He said: “Speed, technique, goals, combines a lot, so having him on one wing and, for example, Joao Felix on the other – interesting. So Chelsea obviously sorts the problems differently to us, so let’s see.”
“Joao Felix played after two days, after three days when he arrived, right? Pretty much immediately. So, you probably can expect him to play – that makes the analysis a little more difficult, but we know him. I cannot say I watched a lot of games in the Ukrainian league but we watched Champions League and it was impressive enough,” he added.
