Former Liverpool player, Jamie Redknapp has pushed the blame of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Everton on goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for his ‘very poor’ role.

Chelsea, who hosted the Toffees at Stamford Bridge on Saturday were hoping to win their fourth straight game after Kai Havertz restored the lead with a 76th-minute penalty.

Recall that Joao Felix gave Chelsea the early lead only for Abdoulaye Doucoure to score an equaliser with a close-range header.

Eliss Sims scored the second goal for Everton in the last minutes of the game when he shrugged off Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly and fired a shot, which though lacking the power required, went underneath the Chelsea goalkeeper.

“It’s a lovely little touch from Doucoure and then the power he shows just to shrug off the defender is unbelievable, it’s so good,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports.

“The keeper, it’s so poor. He doesn’t make nearly enough saves for me. He just bends into the corner but the keeper should do better.”
