Juventus, AC Milan and Barcelona in hot race for this Chelsea defender
Chelsea will be welcoming transfer deal for Antonio Rudiger in the soon to commence January transfer window.
According to the reports, top European clubs, AC Milan, Juventus and Barcelona are in a hot chase to sign the Blues defender.
The arrival of Thiago Silva in January and his perfect combination with Kurt Zouma has improved Blues defense. However it has made Rudiger to be placed on a reserve role.
All of this has made Rudiger agitate for a move next month as he hopes to get more game time elsewhere.
Coach Frank Lampard had admitted in a statement that he would struggle to provide enough minutes to all five of his senior centre-backs.
This means apart from Rudiger, another Blues defender could leave in January.
Transfer Deals: Chelsea get boost ahead of January transfer window
It will be best for Rudiger to leave Stamford Bridge for another club. However he would have to be careful about the kind of decision he plans to make.
Juventus and Barcelona will likely reserve him as a backup player as well, which means he would face the same challenge he is facing at Stamford Bridge, if he is however impressive he could turnout to become a regular player at AC Milan.
