John Terry reacts to Conte take over at Tottenham, tells players what to expect
Former Chelsea player has joined a host of others to react to the recent signing of Antonio Conte as Tottenham Hotspur new manager.
Conte was unveiled as the Hotspurs new manager some hours ago, and the news have been trending, with many reacting to the latest update while they reveal what they except from Tottenham under their new manager.
Terry, while reacting to Conte’s latest appointment, sent a message to English striker Harry Kane and other Tottenham players about their new coach.
Conte became Tottenham coach following the sacking of Nuno Santo on Monday.
The report revealed that the 52-year-old Italian signed an initial 18-month contract with Tottenham, which includes the option of possible extension if he meets up with expectations.
Commenting on an Instagram post of page 433, Terry wrote: “I hate to say it but what a signing this is.”
“The players will love Antonio and his staff. Be ready to go to work @harrykane,” Terry added, accompanied with a running emoji.
Terry during his final season at Chelsea had the opportunity to train under Conte’, who was in his first season at the west London club at that time; they went on to win the 2016-17 Premier League title together.
