Ahead of the summer transfer window set to commence in July, Italian side, Inter Milan have handed transfer blow on Chelsea over the sales of Romelu Lukaku.

Recall that the Blues have been linked with moves to sign Lukaku in the last few weeks as they hope to bring him to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for an underperforming Timo Werner.

While Chelsea are willing to offer any amount to sign Lukaku in the summer window, Inter Milan have however stressed that they wouldn’t accept any offer as they have realised how valuable the Belgium striker is at the club.

While some reports have claimed the Italian champions are under pressure to raise around €80m (£69m) through player sales as they attempt to balance their books.

The reports added that Lukaku was part of the Inter Milan players expected to be available to purchase ahead of next season.

However, an Italian media agency ANSA has said that is not the case as Inter Milan know just how important Lukaku is to the team, and no amount will make them change their mind.

It is however unsure if Lukaku who led Inter Milan to victory in the Seria A would want to remain at the club especially with the departure of coach Antonio Conte.
