Chelsea have not backed out in their quest to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan and their latest bid has been backed by former Inter president Massimo Moratti.

The blues have already had two offer for Lukaku turned down by Inter Milan but latest report have claimed that Chelsea will be offering a deal of £130m.

With Inter Milan currently going through financial crisis, there are chances that the latest bid for Lukaku might be accepted.

Former Inter President Massimo Moratti has now given his opinion on the possibility that striker Romelu Lukaku could be sold to Chelsea this summer.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TMW Radio, as reported by FCInter1908, Moratti expressed sympathy for the club’s current position, suggesting that it would be difficult not to accept Chelsea’s offer for the Belgian.

Moratti stated that he has been reading in the newspapers about the negotiations with Chelsea and honestly he does not know anything more than what has emerged there.

However, Moratti stated that there is talk of €130 million and for Inter that is certainly tempting.
