After Frank Lampard, John Terry could become the next Chelsea player to manage the club in future.

This comes as Terry claimed that after leaving Stamford Bridge, it was his dream to come back and manage the Blues.

While he has not been able to return to the club, Terry is building an experience as a coach for himself.

The former centre-back recently reached an agreement to manager Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab FC.

He would join the likes of Steven Gerrard, Slaven Bilic, Nuno Espirito Santo, and Jorge Jesus, who are already managing Saudi clubs.

The former Chelsea star hopes to gain experience as a manager to return to Europe and try his hands at any of the clubs, including the Blues.

Speaking to Simon Phillips, Terry said: “I made a promise that I would come back. My dream when I left was to come back and manage Chelsea. I would die a happy man. I have to learn my trade. I’ve interviewed for other jobs but not gotten them. I need to do what I do at the Chelsea Academy and help them.”
