Former Chelsea and now Fulham winger, Willian has named Manchester City as ‘the best team in the world’.

Willian made this known in a pre-match statement ahead of Fulham’s Premier League tie with the Premier League champions on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Brazilian, Man City can ‘kill’ a team if the opponent sleeps for five seconds as he urged his Fulham side to be at their best to cause Pep Guardiola’s side problems.

Willian, who was quoted by Metro UK said it’s always good to play against the big teams like Man City.

He admitted that the match was going to be a difficult one for Fulham, but stressed that it was always a pleasure to play big teams.

Despite naming Man City as the best team in the world, Willian stated that Fulham cannot be afraid to play against them.

He added that Fulham need to go to Etihad Stadium on Saturday and try their best to win the game.
