Former Chelsea names best number 10

Former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, who is currently on international duty for his home country Belgium has named Argentina legend Juan Roman Riquelme as the best number 10 he has seen play the game.

Hazard revealed Riquelme, who is considered one of the greatest Argentine footballers of all time, is his idol in football, as he expressed hopes of meeting him someday.

The Real Madrid star made this known while speaking to the press after Belgium’s FIFA World Cup 1-0 win over Canada on Wednesday night.

Belgium won their first game against Canada thanks to Michy Batshuayi’s first-half goal.

“He’s an idol, the best number 10 I have ever seen play.

“I have not met him and I hope one day it can happen. Players like Riquelme can play in today’s football,” Hazard, a former Chelsea ace, told Diario Ole.
