Former Chelsea boss speaks on next coaching job
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has expressed his readiness to return to football management as soon as an opportunity avails itself.
The 61-year-old has been out of work following his sack by Italian side AS Roma in January.
Mourinho, who had previously said he would not go on a sabbatical break, however, revealed he wants the right opportunity.
“I want to work tomorrow if possible, but I don’t want to make the wrong decision.”
“Roma was great, we did two European finals in two years. That’s hard in a club that never did it.
“I have to wait for the right opportunity,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
So far Mourinho has been linked with a return to Chelsea where he could replace manager Mauricio Pochettino, who joined the Blues last summer.
Pochettino is currently under pressure at Stamford Bridge over the Blues’ poor woes.
