Manchester United’s underwhelming performance under manager Erik ten Hag has seen some fans calling for replacement.

There have been rumours of the Red Devils making contact with coaches they can bring in to replace Ten Hag.

One of the names on the list is former Chelsea boss Graham Potter, who has, however, refused to confirm he spoke with Manchester United about replacing Ten Hag.

Recall that Potter has been out of job since he was sacked at Stamford Bridge 17 months ago after only seven months  in charge.

However, Potter could soon be back to football manager as he has been heavily linked with high-profile positions, including Man United and England.

There are speculations that he had conversations with Man United, who chose to keep faith with an under-pressure Ten Hag.

When asked about it on Monday Night Football, Potter said most of what he has read so far in the media is untrue and false.

He stated that he’s the only coach that has been linked with Stoke City and Napoli in the same week.

Potter, however, added that he had lots of conversations with lots of people and thinks for the respect of everybody, it’s best that he kept it private
