Former Chelsea boss, Mourinho confirm as AS Roma coach
Portugal international, Jose Mourinho happens to be one of the few coaches across Europe who are in high demand.
With his level of experience, Mourinho can’t stay away from football coaching for long before he gets a new club to manage.
The Portugal international has coached in England, Spain and now Italy.
This comes as the latest report has revealed that the Italian club, AS Roma, has confirmed Mourinho as their new head coach.
The report revealed that the 58-year-old has signed a three-year deal and will begin at the start of next season.
Roma, on its official Twitter handle, said: “The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.”
Recall that Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in April after just 17 months in charge of the Premier League side.
Mourinho has coached some of the biggest clubs in Europe which include, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.
He is popular for his kind of football that is often referred to as ‘parking the bus.”
With Mourinho presence in the Italian Seria A, it will be a serious competition next season in the league.
