Former Bayern Munich manager could replace Potter at Chelsea
Chelsea have reportedly identified recently sacked Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann as a possible replacement for under-performing Graham Potter.
There are now speculations that the Blues are set to rival Tottenham Hotspur to appoint the former Bayern Munich manager in the summer if Potter fails to meet their expectations at the end of the season.
Tottenham on the other hand want to appoint Nagelsmann as a replacement for the recently sacked Antonio Conte.
According to Sky in Germany report, the 35-year-old, who is also wanted by Real Madrid has now been shortlisted by Chelsea, despite recently ruling out sacking Potter.
Potter joined the Blues from Brighton in September after the sack of Thomas Tuchel but they have endured an abysmal season, sitting 10th in the Premier League table.
This comes despite the club splashing over £600m on players since the summer when Todd Boehly took over from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich as Chelsea’s new owner.
