Felix and 14 other players Pochettino wants to sell
A report via the Daily Mail revealed Chelsea’s new permanent manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided to sell 15 players this summer.
Pochettino has made it clear to on-loan Atletico Madrid forward, Joao Felix, that he will not be part of his squad.
This means Felix would be returning to Spain this summer.
The new Blues boss is keen on cutting down his squad, which currently has over 30 players, after the club owners Todd Boehly splashed millions on new players in this season’s two transfer windows.
Other players expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer are Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Edouard Mendy and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Cesar Azpilicueta and N’Golo Kante’s futures at Chelsea remain unclear while Denis Zakaria will return to Juventus after a season-long loan.
The likes of Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been linked with moves away from Chelsea while top European clubs have shown the desire to sign Mason Mount.
