Chelsea return to action this weekend as they face Championship side Plymouth in the FA Cup.

While many had tipped the game to be an easy one for Chelsea, the Blues were almost held to a penalty shootout but were finally saved thanks to a late goal from Marcos Alonso.

The match, which was played at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, saw Championship side Plymouth score the first in the first eight-minute into the game thanks to effort from Macaulay Gillesphey.

Chelsea were unable to find an equaliser until towards the end of the first half after Cesar Azpilicueta scored a goal in the 41st minute.

The second half saw none of the two sides scoring a goal, and it looked like it would end in a draw; however, at the 106th minute, Alonso fired a winning goal for the Blues.

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku continues with his goal drought as he was unable to find the back of the net.

With this, the Blues remain in the race for the FA Cup this season.
