Chelsea returned to action on Saturday when they played League Two sides Morecambe at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup third round.

The Blues won the match with 5-0 scoreline with defender Tosin Adarabioyo scoring a brace from outside the box.

Chelsea’s win have seen them move to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The game saw Morecambe keeper Harry Burgoyne impressed in the first half as he saved Christopher Nkunku’s early penalty after captain Yann Songo’o was penalised for a handball.

Chelsea, however, managed to break through the deadlock as Adarabioyo’s shot from the edge of the box deflected midfielder Callum Jones into the net after 39 minutes.

Nkunku would score the second goal for the Blues after Burgoyne had denied Renato Veiga.

Adarabioyo found his name on the scoreboard for the second time, making it a third goal for the Blues in the 70th minute.
