Chelsea hosted Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League on Sunday night at Stamford Bridge.

The game, however, ended in a 2-0 win for the Blues, making it the third time Chelsea would defeat Tottenham Hotspurs in 14 days.

Chelsea had earlier on defeated the Hotspurs in the Carabao League semi-finals.

The Blues recent win vs Tottenham came as a result of goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva in the second half.

Coach Thomas Tuchel, in a post-match, has applauded Hakim Ziyech for the first goal he scored last night.

Tuchel said, “It was a very nice goal actually. The build-up to the goal was good, the movements around Hakim to bring him into this position, and the shot was, of course, brilliant.

“It was one of the very nice goals so far and I am very happy because he deserves it first of all today. It was a very important goal to get the lead and so well done, excellent.”
