EPL Transfer: Arsenal target Ruben Neves ahead of Chelsea, Man Utd

With less than a week to the end of the January transfer window, the latest report claims that Arsenal have identified Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ruben Neves as one of four midfield targets before following Monday’s 11 pm deadline.

Neves scored his second goal of the season in the win away at Brentford last weekend and has been linked with a departure from Molineux, amid interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

While the 24-year-old midfielder had stressed in December that he sees his immediate future with Wolves; however, The Athletic claim that Arsenal will consider making a late offer for the Portugal international this month.

Aside from Neves, the report revealed other players on the Arsenal list are Lyon’s Bruno Guimaraes, Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz and RB Leipzig’s Tyler Adams.

While Guimaraes has already played down rumours of a potential move to the North London club in January, Luiz and Adams are unlikely to leave their respective clubs this month, except the offer is reasonable.

We will have to wait till Monday to see if the Gunners can complete the deal.
