EPL: This player blamed during Chelsea 3-0 defeat to Leeds United

Manchester United star, Micky Gray, in a recent statement reacted to Chelsea’s unexpected defeat to Leeds United and he has one player to blame.

Gray in his statement slammed the Blues goalie Edouard Mendy’s shocking error in their Sunday defeat.

Mendy’s indecision helped the home side beat Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road with goals from Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo Moreno and Jack Harrison.

Mendy dallied on a clearance only to be chased down by Aaronson who dispossessed the keeper for an easy tap-in.

“What are you doing, Edouard Mendy?!” Micky Gray said on commentary on talkSPORT.

“It was a simple clearance, he’s done it two or three times already in this game but he gets caught on the ball by the star player…”

The defeat to Leeds United comes after Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will now have to focus on their next match against Leicester City on Saturday.
